Refunds Policy

Deposits and Payment
Once project is approved a deposit invoice is emailed to you at the start of the project where a 50% non-refundable deposit is due before work can commence. You will be sent a second invoice for a 25% payment upon completion of your first approval of draft and The balance of 25% is to be paid at the end of the project and before the final package is delivered/uploaded,

Refunds
The refund policy will not take effect in any of the following events keeping in mind the deposit is non-refundable
If you purchased a “Special Package”.
If you have approved your logo design.
If work was commenced on one of your samples and 3 or more logo design changes were effected at your request.
If the party for whom the logo is being designed closes, or changes its name, or changes its activity.
If the project was cancelled for reason(s) unrelated to the logo design of Try Us Limited.
If you do not communicate with Try Us for more than 30 days following the submission of the logo design.
If other design companies were hired to work on the same logo design project at the same time.

How the money will be transferred
If you have paid using your credit card – the money will be transferred back to your credit card account. It may take up to 6 business days before the money will appear on your account. If you have paid using a cheque or a money order your refund will be sent to you by cheque.

Cancellations
You can make cancellations at any time. Please keep in mind that the deposit is non-refundable.

Project Rejections
We have the right to reject projects that we would be uncomfortable working with (ie. nudity, pornography, offensive material, etc.). You will be notified by email if your order will be cancelled and the reason for cancellation.

Our Portfolio and Website Credit
We reserve the right to add completed projects to our portfolio and our website credit to the footer of your website. If there is a privacy issue involved, please inform us.

Copyright for Artwork
Graphic designs created at our studio are custom-created and exclusive to each business, so the designs are yours after final payment has been made. Note that we reserve the right to use stock images where necessary. Any concepts that are not chosen and paid for will be a violation of Try Us’s rights if they are used elsewhere.

Revisions
Small revisions can be made after we provide the initial mockup. If many revisions are required, an additional fee may apply. You will be notified if this applies.

Abandoned Projects
A project will be considered abandoned if we have not heard from you in 30 days. You will not have any rights to use any of the work that was presented to you, unless the project has been paid in full. If we have not heard from you and you contact us after the 30 day abandonment, a start up fee of $85 USD will apply.

Printers
We work with third-party printers that we trust and in the rare case that there is a printing issue, we will work with the printers to get it resolved. Please note that some print materials may not show the exact same colour that is showing up on your screen. This is due to the fact that each computer screen tint can be different. Any reprints required will not be at the expense of Try Us. We recommend providing Hex #s or Pantone colours if you need exact shades matched up.

Taxes
All work, excluding print shop items, are subject to a 15% GST New Zealand tax fee for New Zealanders only. Clients outside of New Zealand will not be charged tax.

Contract with Try Us
By entering into a project with Try Us, you are consenting to be bound by the terms of these policies and procedures.

*Try Us policies and procedures can be changed or updated at any time without prior notice to you.
